Getting Started

Downloading the App. First things first. Head over to the App Store and download Cubric for free. Yes, you heard that right—it’s free to play, with optional in-game purchases for those looking to take their creations and experiences to the next level.

Creating your Character. Once you’ve installed the app, it’s time to complete the fun onboarding process. First, you’ll have a chance to create your avatar. This character will represent you in the game world, so make sure it reflects your style and personality. Choose from a variety of customization options to make your avatar truly unique. More experienced players will be able to unlock more designs and features, including [wait for it] a Golden Tuxedo!

Navigating & Building. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the interface. Slide or tap the controls to move around your world (even fly), pinch to zoom in and out, and tap to interact with objects. The controls are designed to be intuitive, so you’ll be crafting masterpieces in no time. We especially encourage you to fly and swim, since well, it’s cool.

To build, simply select items and blueprints from the inventory and place them in the item tray, so they can enter your world. Start with basic structures like houses and roads, then expand to more advanced features like monuments, landmarks and obstacle courses. Gameplay Features

Completing Missions. Once the onboarding process is complete, players can tap on the mission checklist icon at the top of the screen to earn coins, unlock special outfits and new starter plots. We strongly encourage every new player to complete one or more missions tailored to their interest, so they can explore the full breadth and depth of Cubric. Entering Multiplayer Mode. Want to show off the world (or in Cubric, the Build) you created? Enter multiplayer mode, where your Build will be randomly paired with others to form one incredible Cubric Island. On the island, your Build can receive likes from others and you can get inspired by the Builds of others. Drop a like if you find a Build that inspires you! In multiplayer mode, you can also complete an Obby (obstacle course) built by a fellow gamer or visit one of many shops to alter the look of your character.

Creating a Private Island. For players looking to develop a larger piece of land and wanting more of an invite-only experience, consider selecting “My Private Islands” in the main menu. After naming the Private Island, a player will have access to a larger area to create an amazing world and to connect with friends.

Renting a Car. While on the island, visit the local dealer and grab a sweet ride with your collection of coins or tickets. Renting a car and driving around the island is definitely one of the best ways to explore the entire island, as well as to have a blast. Crash without consequences! Plus, there are different car styles to choose from as well, so you can flaunt your unique style.

Playing Mini Games. Feeling a bit competitive? Select the baseball icon on the screen (upper left) to start playing an official mini game. In Food Frenzy, players can splat others with food all over the island. To win, make sure you land the most direct hits before time runs out. In Bowling Blitz, you get the chance to become the ultimate King Pin or Strike Siren. And for those movers and shakers, Disco Drop tests your mental and physical reflexes, as you dance to the beat while matching an ever-changing disco floor of color. You can also join these mini games by heading to select shops around the island.

Solving Puzzles. Cubric also offers players a chance to solve math and coding puzzles to earn rewards. To start a puzzle challenge, enter the Arcade building or select the Puzzle icon on the upper right of the screen. Select Summing with the Fishes to test your math skills or cubri(CODE) to complete coding sequences. Both allow players to win tickets, which can be used all around Cubric Island.

Visiting the Cubric Store. One of the greatest things about Cubric is a player’s ability to customize and create your own reality. New items are being added to the Cubric Store, so we strongly encourage you to explore and make purchases that make your experience the best possible for you.
